Sustainable Tourism in Offa's Country PDF Print E-mail
Alison has been working with Sula Rayska to develop sustainable tourism projects for the four AONBs/National Parks along the English-Welsh border. Alison has developed a package of projects including improvements along Offa's Dyke National Trail which links the Clywdian Ranges, Shropshire Hills, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. Other ideas include sustainable transport initiatives and the promotion of outdoor activities. Sula researched the most likely funding opportunities including schemes which fund such collaborative programmes.Their application to Natural England's Natural Assets programme was successful.
